This somatic journey is a creative process, which impels me to transmute my actions more and more into inner awareness and creative evolution. I was first introduced to the benefit of body awareness in the sixties, while working with Vidal Sassoon in London. He encouraged healthy body mechanics via his Hatha Yoga practice. In spite of this, the repetitive motion of the work resulted in debilitating back spasms and eventually sharp neck pains that left my career in jeopardy. This motivated a search through many forms of body therapy. This search became a lifelong journey into Yoga, Meditation, and Healing. Eventually I discovered Hanna Somatics, and graduated from the Novato Institute for Somatic Research and Training in the late 90s.

This work is a meditation in motion, unifying mind-brain, nerve-muscle.

I have worked with practitioners of yoga and bodywork, who after experiencing somatic principles of movement have incorporated it into their practices.

I am a graduate of the Novato Institute for Somatic Reseach and Training and am a Certified Hanna Somatic Educator.

We tend to teach what we most need to learn.
